Five Big 12 Teams Bowl Eligible, Texas and Texas Tech still in the hunt.

Five Big 12 teams are bowl eligible coming into Week 13 of the college football season, with two teams playing this weekend for a shot to join them.

Here's the Big Ten bowl eligibility rundown. Bowl projections via Jason Kirk of SB*Nation.

Oklahoma (9-2)
Projected Bowl: 2017 Sugar Bowl vs. Tennessee (Jan. 1, 2017. New Orleans, La.)

Oklahoma State (9-2)
Projected Bowl: 2016 Alamo Bowl vs. Colorado (Dec. 29, San Antonio, Tx.)

West Virginia (8-2)
Projected Bowl: 2016 Russell Athletic Bowl vs. Florida State (Dec. 28, Orlando, Fl.)

Kansas State (6-4)
Projected Bowl: 2016 Liberty Bowl vs. Georgia (Dec. 30, Memphis, Tn.)

Baylor (6-4)
Projected Bowl: 2016 Armed Forces Bowl vs. Navy (Dec. 23, Ft. Worth, Tx.)

On the Brink (Five wins, one win needed for bowl eligibility)

TCU (5-6)

Texas (5-6)

TCU will get two chances to earn a sixth win. As for Texas, Friday a loss could end the season for Texas, as well as the Charlie Strong head coaching era in Austin.
