Baylor Hires Jim Grobe As Interim Head Coach, Athletic Director Ian McCaw To Resign.

Baylor has officially hired Jim Grobe as interim head coach for the 2016 college football season.

Grobe replaces Art Briles, who was fired in the wake of allegations that the football program ignored claims of physical and sexual assault by its players.

Grobe most recently was head coach of Wake Forest, where he had a 77-82 record. He led the Demon Deacons to an ACC title in 2006.

In other Baylor news, athletic director Ian McCaw will reportedly announce his resignation in the near future.
