How does a school entertain recruiting prospects on a night they would otherwise be spending playing video games? If you're Auburn, you let visiting prospects use the massive video board inside Jordan-Hare Stadium to play Madden '16, of course. The board just happens to be largest of its kind in a college football stadium.
Auburn linebackers coach Travis Williams tweeted out this video on what the results looked like.
Playing Madden on the biggest scoreboard in college football!!! WAR EAGLE! By the way I'm a beast on them sticks! 🎮🎮 pic.twitter.com/NzjgnA8sAe— Coach Williams (@T_WILL4REAL) January 16, 2016
This might not be a recruiting violation now, but the NCAA will probably look in to making it into one before you can blink.
