The 2015 season hasn't gone without discussion as to the possibility that Lane Kiffin would leave Alabama following the outcome of the 2015 College Football Playoff. The Crimson Tide offensive coordinator tried to diffuse such talk while speaking to reporters at a Cotton Bowl media session.

While not guaranteeing a return to Tuscaloosa in the fall, Kiffin'd demeanor seemed to imply that he would continue on as OC under Alabama head coach Nick Saban,

"I'd love to be back here," Kiffin said. "We'll have a new set of challenges with the third year of a new quarterback, a lot of great players. We'll replace a Heisman Trophy winner just like we did a Biletnikoff winner the year before. We have some great returning players to work with. I'd be really excited about coming back."

Alabama will face Michigan State in the 2015 Cotton Bowl at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Tx. on Dec. 31 as part of the 2015 College Football Playoff semifinals.
