College Football Playoff and New Year's Six Projections - Post- Week 13.

Its Tuesday, and the Illuminati oh High College Football Playoff Committee will  announce its latest rankings following the completion of play in Week 13 of the college football season. Logic dictates that Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Iowa will continue to be the top four teams this week. As we all know, however, the CFP Committee at times does not use logic as a deciding factor.

As usual, here is who some of the more notable college football analysts are projecting which teams go to the College Football Playoff, as well as those on the outside looking in as part of the New Year's Six Bowls.

The analysts in SWRT' reviews the projections of ESPN's Brett McMurphy and Mark Schlabach, CBS Sports Jerry Palm, SB*Nation's Jason Kirk, and Bleacher Report's Bryan Fischer.

Changes from last week's will be in bold.

Current College Football Playoff Committee Top Four Teams

1) Clemson
2) Alabama
3) Oklahoma
4) Iowa

CFP Projections

McMurphy
Last Week: Clemson, Alabama, Michigan State, Oklahoma
This Week: Clemson, Alabama, Mich. St., Oklahoma

Schlabach
Last Week: Clemson, Alabama, Mich. St., Oklahoma
This Week: Clemson, Alabama, Mich. St. , Oklahoma

Palm

Kirk
Last Week: Clemson, Alabama, Mich. St. Oklahoma
Last Week: Clemson, Alabama, Mich. St, Oklahoma

Fischer
Last Week: Clemson, Alabama, Mich. St., Oklahoma
This Week: Clemson, Oklahoma, Alabama, Mich. St.

Fischer has Oklahoma climbing over Alabama to take the no. 2 spot, avoiding Clemson in the first round. None of the analysts apparently believe that  Iowa will beat Mich. St. in the Big Ten Championship game this weekend.

No one went for the any of the suicide picks of North Carolina (beating Clemson in the ACC Championship Game), Florida (beating 'Bama in the SEC Championship Game), or Iowa (Beating Michigan St. in the Big Ten Championship Game). Crazy talk like that will start up later on this week.

College Football Playoff

Orange Bowl (Dec. 31, No. 1 vs. No 4)

McMurphy
Last Week: Clemson vs. Oklahoma
This Week: Clemson vs, Oklahoma

Schlabach
Last Week: Clemson vs. Oklahoma
This Week: Oklahoma vs. Clemson

Does Schlabach see The Sooners jumping ahead of the Tigers to nab the top spot in CFP Poll? We'll have to wait and see for that.

Palm
Last Week: Clemson vs. Oklahoma
This Week: Clemson vs. Oklahoma

Kirk
Last Week: Clemson vs. Oklahoma
This Week: Clemson vs. Oklahoma

Fischer
Last Week: Clemson vs. Oklahoma
This Week: Clemson vs. Michigan St.

Fischer is the only analyst that has Michigan St. not jumping over Oklahoma by the time the final CFP Committee rankings come out.

Cotton Bowl (Dec. 31, No. 2 vs. No. 3)

McMurphy
Last Week: Alabama vs. Mich. St.
This Week: Alabama vs. Mich. St.

Kirk

The second half of Fischer's CFP flip has 'Bama facing the Sooners instead of the Spartans.

Kirk

Fischer
Last Week: Baylor vs. Ole Miss
This Week: Baylor vs. Ole Miss

Palm is the only one to follow the conventional wisdom that the second place finisher in the SEC West will jump over the SEC East winner in the final CFP rankings. A Baylor loss to Texas this Saturday could really upset the apple cart with this one.

2016 Rose Bowl Game (Jan 1, 2016)

McMurphy
Last Week: Michigan vs. Stanford
This Week: Ohio St. vs. Stanford

Schlabach

Fischer:

This Week: Iowa vs. Stanford

McMurphy and Kirk are still cleaning the egg over their face from picking Michigan last week. Did they really thing the Wolverines were going to beat the Buckeyes this year?

Palm and Fischer stick to their guns by picking Iowa over Ohio St.

2016 Fiesta Bowl (Jan. 1, 2016)

McMurphy
Last Week: Notre Dame vs. Iowa
This Week: Notre Dame vs. Houston

Schlabach
Last Week: Michigan vs. Notre Dame

Kirk
Last Week: Ohio St. vs. Houston

Fischer

Fischer sees the first total rewrite of a previous prediction, partially in thanks to Houston taking out dark horse CFP team Navy last week.
