Who's Going To The TaxSlayer Bowl? What The Analysts Say Post-Week 12.

What will the teams be for the 2016 TaxSlayer Bowl a.k.a. the former Gator Bowl a.k.a. the second biggest college football game in Jacksonville, Fl.?  (Behind Georgia vs. Florida, of course) Some of the best college football analysts in the country have some ideas.

Official bowl name: 2016 TaxSlayer Bowl

Bowl was formerly known as: The Gator Bowl

Date: Jan. 2, 2016

Location: Everbank Field, Jacksonville, Fl.

Conference affiliations: SEC vs Big Ten/ACC/Notre Dame

Who do the analysts say will play in the TaxSlayer Bowl?

Brett McMurphy, ESPN
Mississippi State vs. Pitt

Mark Schlabach, ESPN
Georgia vs. Penn State

Jerry Palm, CBS Sports
Mississippi St vs. Pitt

Jason Kirk, SB*Nation
Penn St. vs. LSU

Stewart Mandel, FOX Sports
LSU vs. North Carolina State

Bryan Fischer, Bleacher Report
Miami vs. LSU

Steve Lassan, Athlon Sports
LSU vs. Louisville

Brad Crawford, Saturday Down South
Georgia vs. Wisconsin

Bill Bender, Sporting News
Mississippi St. vs. Pitt

Brant Parsons, The Orlando Sentinel
Pitt vs. Arkansas

College Football Madness
Penn St. vs. LSU

Which match-ups sound the best (and worst)?

Mississippi St. vs. Pitt gets the most mentions. Pitt is currently second in the ACC Costal Division, Miss St. is sixth in the SEC West. Both are 8-3, which should tell you which team is from the more competitive conference and division.

I've seen Georgia vs. Wisconsin way too many times in my lifetime, thank you.
