We have our first Georgia-related arrest in a long time. The even more embarrassing part for Bulldog head coach Mark Richt is that it involves a graduate assistant on his coaching staff.

Courtney Coard, a first-year graduate assistant on the Georgia staff, was arrested early Saturday morning on  "DUI alcohol and improper drivingcharges.

Georgia has suspended Coard, who has been released on $2,000 bond.

Prior to coming to Georgia, Coard was a defensive line coach at North Carolina A&T. He was a four-year starter at defensive tackle at North Carolina-central between 2004-2007.
