Mike Slive announced on Friday that he is stepping down earlier than planned as SEC commissioner in order for his successor, Greg Sankey to go ahead and assume his position. (al.com)

Wide receiver Jamil Kamara becomes the fourth member of the Virginia football team to announce his decision to transfer to another school since the end of the 2014 season. (College Football Talk)

Defensive back D'Andre Payne announces he's leaving Maryland. Payne had transferred to Maryland from Tennessee in January. (College Football Talk)

Back Where You Belong.
Cornerback KeiVarae Russell announces that he has returned to Notre Dame. Russell had been part of a group of five team members who were suspended following an investigation in to academic fraud by the school in 2014.  (Dr. Saturday)
