The Fallout: Bo Pelini, Tim Beckman, Nick Wilson, and more.

Welcome to the Fallout -  Tuesday edition

Money for Nothing.
Nebraska will be paying Bo Pelini $128,009 a month until February of 2019 after an agreement with the former Husker head football coach. That's down from the $150,000 it was originally obligated to pay Pelini, who became the HC of Youngstown State shortly after being his firing from Nebraska. (The Omaha World-Herald)

Stand By Your Man?
Indiana athletic director Mike Thomas gives a show of support for Hoosier head football coach Tim Beckman, while at the same time investigating claims that Beckman abused a former player. (Dr. Saturday)

Back Home in Indiana.
Off Tackle Empire's annual Indiana Week begins with the traditional "Indiana Cocktail Party." Since OTL's "B1G" weeks go from worst to first in the Big Ten, and Indiana Week comes in week two of the series,  you can pretty much that there's really not much to celebrate here.

Legion of BOOM!
Kevin Trahan places Arizona running back Nick Wilson at the top of his list of "college football's most explosive running backs. Georgia's Nick Chubb comes in at second, with TCU's Aaron Green coming in at third. (SB*Nation)

Never Say Never.
Ethan Levine gives his list of "5 SEC records that will never be broken." I don't like saying something will never happen, as I've seen a whole lot of things that weren't supposed to happen in my lifetime actually happen (like the fall of the Berlin Wall). Auburn managing to retain possession of the football for the entire first quarter of its 2006 24-17 win over South Carolina is gonna be a tough one to even duplicate. (Saturday Down South)

Quarterback controversy? What quarterback controversy?
Brett Waistband looks at SEC schools with might find a solution to their unresolved starting quarterback issues by signing a graduate transfer QB like Everett Golson. Among the schools that a graduate transfer could help are Alabama and Georgia. (Saturday Down South)

Society

Hello, do you have a moment?
Brett Helm takes a moment to explain what Mormon student athletes do on their two year-long service as missionaries. Yes, it's more than just knocking on doors (Vanquish the Foe)
