Jim Harbaugh uses high school prospect's own prom request sign in recruiting process.

From the never-ending Sadie Hawkins Dance that is Jim Harbaugh-era Michigan comes the first-year head coach's latest innovation in recruiting - use the prospect's own prom request sign in the recruiting process.

The prospect in question is Boss Tagaloa, a four-star defensive tackle prospect from Concord, Ca. (You can read his info here.) He used the old sign and candy trick to convince his potential date to the prom to say yes. It apparently worked.

Harbaugh or one of his khaki-clad minions was obviously following Tagola on Twitter, because Harbaugh made his own version of Tagalog's sign in his recruiting pitch to the young DT.

It's too soon to tell if Harbaugh's recruiting pitch will lure Tagaloa to Michigan. Tagaloa has shown interest in 15 schools. This includes Michigan, which is among six schools who have offered a scholarship to Tagaloa

. 247Sports.com's Crystal Ball predicts Tagaloa will commit to UCLA.
