Jameis Winston should be benched after announcement of disciplinary hearing, charges of school interference in sexual assault investigation.

Commentary

As of right now, FSU starting quarterback Jameis Winston is still scheduled to start in today's game against Syracuse. He shouldn't be after yesterday's news that he is facing a school disciplinary hearing involving the sexual assault allegations he faced late year.

No charges were brought against Winston, but new allegations of that the investigation into the case was hampered by both Tallahassee police and by officials from FSU were reported by FOX Sports on Friday night.

It's an embarrassment for both the school and college football that Winston is playing today. While Winston was never formally charged in the sexual assault case, the disciplinary hearing should have been enough reason to bench him today.
