Florida players munched the night away during rain-soaked suspended season opener.

What did Florida players do in the storm-soaked downtime of the eventually suspended season opener against Idaho. According to Florida starting quarterback Jeff Driskel, they ate. A lot.

 “There was a lot of sitting around, guys got hungry, so we were eating,” Driskel said. “We were trying to stay warm because it got pretty cold in there. Just a lot of sitting around.”

Driskel didn't specify what exactly the Gators' munched on, but did say that "The (Florida) nutrition staff did a good job of resupplying" players with nourishment,

A date for the game to be rescheduled has yet to be announced.
