Athlon Sports ranks Alabama head coach Nick Saban as the top head coach in the SEC. South Carolina's Steve Spurrier comes in second, with Auburn's Gus Malzahn in third. First-year Vanderbilt had coach Derek Mason finds himself at the bottom of the list.

LSU announces home and home series with both UCLA and Arizona State. The Tigers will face the Bruins in the Rose Bowl on Sept 4, 2021, with a return game at Tiger Stadium on Aug. 31, 2014.
