Under Meyer undergoes surgical procedure.

Urban Meyer underwent what is being described as "a small medical procedure" over the weekend to deal with "intermittent headaches" the Ohio State head coach has been experiencing in recent weeks.

The procedure, performed at the  Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, involved removing  "a small fluid amount of fluid" connected to a congenital arachnoid cyst. According to the John Hopkins Medicine website, an arachnoid cyst is a brain cyst that appears "in one of the three layers of tissue covering the central nervous system." Meyer was diagnosed with in 1998 while working at Notre Dame as an assistant.

Meyer is expected to be on the field Tuesday for the start of Ohio State's spring practice.
