Alabama has added a former Georgia player  to its 2014 recruiting class. Tight End Ty Flournoy-Smith, who currently attends Georgia Military College, announced his commitment to Alabama on Monday via Twitter.

Flournoy-Smith played in eight games for Georgia in 2012. He transferred in May of 2013 following a series of run-ins with the police, which included charges of filing a false report with the police claiming his books had been stolen in February of that year. It turned out that he had sold the books to a local Athens-area book store.

Flournoy-Smith, along with teammate Josh Harvey-Clemons were also involved with an incident in May of 2013, where they admitted to police that they has been smoking marijuana in a UGA dorm room. Neither was charged due to lack of evidence.
