Vanderbilt head coach James Franklin will reportedly interview for Penn St. head coaching position.

Texas seems to be having a few problems getting coaches interested in its vacant head coaching job. That can't be said about Penn State, which is starting to happily lure potential head coaching candidates to Happy Valley to replace the departed Bill O'Brien.  Reports are circulating that Vanderbilt head coach James Franklin will be traveling to State College, Pa. on Sunday to interview with Penn St. officials.

Franklin had earlier been considered as a possible candidate for Penn State before O'Brien left the school for the NFL's Houston Texans. He will be coaching the Commodores on Saturday night as they take on the Houston Cougars in the NFL.
