Report: Louisville to rehire Bobby Petrino.

Pat Forde of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Louisville is expected to once again hire Bobby Petrino as its head football coach. This comes in the wake of the departure of former Cardinals' head coach Charlie Strong to Texas.

Forde reports sources that say Louisville athletic director Tom Jurich will reportedly meet with Petrino's agent, David Dunn, to work out the details of a new contract on Wednesday night. An official announcement of Petrino's hiring is then expected on Thursday.

Petrino coached the school from 2003 to 2006. He has been most recently been coach of Central Kentucky.
