LSU starting quarterback Zach Mettenberger's college football days are reportedly over. ESPN's Adam Caplan reported Tuesday night that Mettenberger has a torn ACL, which he received in the fourth quarter of LSU's win over Arkansas on Friday. He'll reportedly miss the Tigers' bowl game.

There's no official word from LSU, but the Baton Rouge Advocate's  Ross Dellenger says that the school will reportedly "address the issue Wednesday morning."

Mettenberger had 22 touchdowns, with a 64.9 completion percentage this season. He was considered to go as high as the mid-first round of the 2014 NFL Draft before the ACL injury.
