Kabam buys naming rights to Cal's California Memorial Stadium.

California Memorial Stadium Kabam Field

The University of California has come to an agreement to sell the naming rights to California Memorial Stadium to mobile gaming company Kabam. The stadium will henceforth be called Kabam Field.

The company, which spawned such Facebook and Android favorites as Kingdoms of Camelot and  Edgeworld was counts three Cal alumni amongst its four founders, which should make traditionalist Cal fans feel a little less awkward when they enter the Golden Bears newly rechristened home.

Though it could be worse if Kabam still went under its former name, Watercooler, inc. Imagine telling people your team played at Watercooler Stadium. Yeah, I'd be embarrassed too.
