T.J. Yeldon apoligizes for "money" gesture mocking Texas A&M on sunday.

Alabama running back T.J. Yeldon has issued a written apology for his combination of mocking Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel's infamous "money" gesture with a classic throat slash during The Crimson Tide's win over Texas A&M on Saturday.

"I want to apologize to everyone for my selfish actions on Saturday," Yeldon said in the release. "That is not the way I want to represent myself, my family and our team.

"That is not the way we do things at Alabama. This is something that I will learn from, and I will use better judgment in the future."
Yeldon's actions on Saturday resulted in an unsportsmanlike penalty.

Alabama head football coach Nick Saban expressed his displeasure with Yeldon's actions, which he described as being "not us" and "not our program."
