The fallout from Texas' embarrassing 41-20 loss to BYU is starting to hit the coaching staff of Longhorn head football coach Mack Brown. Longhorn defensive coordinator Manny Diaz has been relieved of his coaching duties and will be "reassigned within the athletics department," according to the school.

Diaz will be replaced by former Texas co-DC Greg Robinson, who has worked as an analyst for Texas since returning to the program last July.

In a press release from the school, Brown described Texas' lackluster performance against BYU as "unacceptable," and of need to be changed.

Brown served as Texas DC in 2004. He later served as head football coach of Syracuse from 2005-2008, and then as DC of Michigan in 2009-2010.
