Harvey Updyke, he man who poisoned the oak trees at Toomer's Corner in Auburn had denied any connection to the latest incident involving the landmark. The toliet paper hanging from the trees after Auburn's victory over Alabama A&M caught fire early on Sunday morning. On Monday, college football gadfly Paul Finebaum tweeted that Updyke denied responsibility for the incident.

At least Updyke is getting the help he needs. Fire department spokesmen say the fire was probably not set intentionally.
