Western Kentucky could beat Alabama this weekend. Because Nick Saban said so.

Alabama head football coach Nick Saban has been just a little snarky this week about the Tide's Saturday afternoon opponent Western Kentucky being disrespected by Tide fans. On his Thursday radio show, Saban took time to remind the 'Bama faithful that the Hilltoppers could do the unthinkable and beat the number one team in the country.

"Everybody needs to understand that. You've never arrived," Saban said. "I remember when we lost to ULM, I remember when we lost to UAB at LSU. I remember those games.

"You know what? People approach those games the same way we're approaching this one, and that's dangerous."

Well the chances of Western Kentucky beating Alabama are about as slim as the chances of an Elton John-Madonna duet happening. But the possibility WKU playing the Appalachian State to Alabama's Michigan are still out there.
