Ohio State 2013 spring game may be played in home of the Cincinnati Bengals.

Paul Brown Stadium.
Ohio State is looking at what Brown can do for the school. Paul Brown Stadium, that is.

Ohio Stadium is scheduled to undergo renovations after the end of the 2012 college football season. The problem? It apparently won't be ready for the Buckeyes' 2013 spring game. The solution? Move the game to Paul Brown Stadium, home to the Cincinnati Bengals. Which is exactly what the school is talking about doing with the Bengals.

"We are very appreciative to be in discussions with the Cincinnati Bengals," Ohio State Athletic Director Gene Smith said in a release. "We look forward to continuing our discussions and look forward to an opportunity to bring the Buckeyes into Cincinnati and closer to our Southern Ohio fans."

The downside to this endeavor is that the seating capacity of Paul Brown Stadium is smaller than Ohio Stadium. This year's spring game attracted over 81,000 Buckeye fans. Paul Brown stadium only seats 65,535. There is a possibility of there being 20,000 out-of-luck Buckeye fans out there, but at least it's only for a year.
