Bobby Petrino suspended for not being truthful about motorcycle crash.

Well, this didn't take long. Arkansas has  head football coach Bobby Petrino on paid leave for lying about being alone when he had his motorcycle accident on Sunday. Petrino failed to mention the 25 year-old Razorback Foundation employee who was his passenger when the accident occured.

"Athletic director Jeff Long announced the decision and said he had no timeline in determining Petrino’s future with the Razorbacks.

“I’m at the beginning of the review. I don’t know what I’m going to find,” Long said.

Long said he was disappointed that he didn’t hear about the passenger— former Arkansas volleyball player and current Razorback Foundation fundraiser Jessica Dorrell—until a police report was released Thursday."

A saner man would probably have just gone ahead and resigned. This is the SEC however, and things like money and power (not to mention potentially nasty divorce proceedings) could cause less than honorable behavior. Then again, as anybody from Atlanta knows, Petrino isn't an honorable person.
