Alabama head football coach Nick Saban has been given the  the Grant Teaff "Breaking the Silence" Award by the The Jason Foundation for his efforts in the prevention of suicide among young people. (al.com)

Former Alabama running back Trent Richardson and linebacker Dont'a Hightower lead a group of nine former Crimson Tide players invited to the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine. (al.com)
