It's Beef O'Brady's Bowl or Bust for Syracuse blog

There are lowered expectations, and then there are lowered expectations, Then there is Syracuse, the once-proud alma mater of Jim Brown, now faced with the oh-so difficult and dubious task of climbing out of the cellar of the Big East.
But don't think that the lowly Orange nation is ready for another season in the wilderness of futility. This year, the goals for some Syracuse followers are lofty indeed. The Syracuse blog Troy Nunes is an Absolute Magician has set a true benchmark for Syracuse. It's the Beef-O'Brady's Bowl or bust.
Now it may be shocking to some that wanting to go to the Beef-O'Brady's Bowl  would be the desire for a team that went 4-8 last year. It's twice as shocking that this bowl still exists. Heck, it's shocking that Beef O'Brady's still exists, period. The only two locations of the artificial Irish pub in the area that I know of in my neck of the woods shut down. And trust me, they're not sadly missed.
But back to the subject at hand. It may seem a difficult path for Syracuse to travel to get to the Beef O'Brady's Bowl, but the road to St. Petersburg, Florida is starting to get paved. The Orange is already 1-0, and ahead in the standings of last year's Big East champion Cincinnati. If Syracuse isn't too careful, it may over-achieve and overshoot the targeted goal of Troy Nunes and wind up in the BCS this year. Yeah, right.
