Oklahoma joined the growing list of schools which have partnered with Jordan Brand back in November of 2017. The first fruits of the new deal were revealed on Monday, as the school unveiled the uniforms that the Sooners will be wearing on the gridiron for the 2018 college football season.

The changes from Oklahoma’s traditional and alternate “Rough Rider” unis are generally subtle ones, as Jack Shields of Crimson and Cream Machine pointed out. The “Oklahoma” and “Sooners” on the jerseys are scripted in the school’s recently updated “Sooner Born” font. The helmets feature a thicker decal, and the “Rough Riders” pants feature stripes that more closely resemble the stripes on the regular unis.
Not suprisingly, the most notable change id the addition of the iconic Jordan Brand “Jumpman” on the unis and cleats. Oklahoma joins Michigan, North Carolina, and Florida as football programs that have partnered with Jordan Brand, and the list will probably continue to grow.
