Is Jarrett Stidham underrated?

Rob Maxwell of Auburn-centric website Fly War Eagle takes umbrage over the fact that Auburn starting quarterback Jarrett Stidham was ranked by Sports Illustrated at no. 83 among Sports Illustrated's rankings of the top QB's in college football. More umbrage comes from the fact that four other SEC QBs, including Missouri's Drew Lock (no. 33), and Georgia's Jake Fromm (no. 65) are ranked ahead of him.

Easier Said Than Done

Chris Low of ESPN ranks Arkansas' 2018 non-conference schedule at no. 5 in his ranking of college football's "easiest nonconference schedules." The Razorbacks open the season hosting Eastern Illinois on Sept. 1, face Colorado State on the road on Sept. 8, host North Texas on Sept. 15, and round out its non-conference schedule on Oct. 20 hosting Tulsa.

Georgia comes in on the list at no. 9, while reigning CFP champion Alabama comes in at no. 10.

For the record, Oregon comes out on top of Low's rankings as having the easiest nonconference schedule for 2018.

Same as it ever was?

'Bama shafted by the ESPYs?

Roll 'Bama Roll has a bone (or is it a tusk?) to pick with the ESPYs for mostly ignoring the achievements of Alabama's 2017 CFP championship-winning team. Getting ignored by the ESPYs is perhaps the only reason to pay attention to the ESPYs in the first place.

Meeting the new guy.
Track 'Em Tigers previews Auburn's Oct. 6 road game against Mississippi State. It will be the first time Auburn faces Mississippi St. under first-year head coach Joe Moorhead.

What, me worried?
