Danny Clark is an ex-Ohio State commitment. The Massillion, Ohio high school senior quarterback prospect announced his de-commitment from Ohio St. via Twitter on Tuesday.

LSU fires Les Miles, names Ed Orgeron as interim head coach.

The Baton Rouge Advocate has reported that LSU has fired head coach Les Miles. Miles has served as the Tigers' head coach since 2005. Ed Orgeron, who had been serving as Miles defensive coordinator, was named as interim head coach.

Bowl Eligibility Watch - Week 4

Week four of the college football season is over. Forty-four out of 128 teams are now at least halfway to becoming eligible for one of the 82 postseason bowl invitations available this season. That's up from 29 last week.

Arizona is taking the opportunity of its week 3 match-up with Hawaii to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Dec 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. The team will be wearing uniforms commemorating the USS Arizona, one of the naval ship that were sunk during the attack that led to the United States' entry into World War II.

South Carolina added the no. 1 ranked in-state prospect on Sunday.  Mount Pleasant, South Carolina high school senior wide receiver OrTre Smith announce that he would become the 22nd member of the Gamecocks' 2017 recruiting class on Sunday.

This just in: Nick Saban says cuss words.

The Alabama head coach was a little perturbed after Western Kentucky recovered a fumble late in the fourth quarter. At the time, the Crimson Tide was ahead 38-3. The turnover resulted in the Hilltoppers only touchdown go the game three plays later.

In a press conference on Monday,  His Sabanic Majesty used a rather blunt metaphor in describing what he felt 'Bama showed him while dismantling USC 52-6 Saturday night at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

David Pollack opened up ESPN College GameDay's 2016 season the same way he did the 2015 season, with a fifty-or-so inch vertical jump. With three-time Olympic gold medal winning gymnast Aly Raisman on hand, he again succeeded in making the perilous vertical jump.

'Ol Crimson, the rather large Washington State flag will most surely be flying high this weekend when the ESPN College GameDay kicks off its 2016 college football season at Lambeau Field, sight of the neutral site meeting of LSU and Wisconsin. The flag has been at every GameDay since Oct. 18, 2003, when Wazzou boosters began a campaign to bring the program to the school's Pullman, Washington campus.
