Ole Miss starting quarterback Chad Kelly has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and torn lateral meniscus, and will be out for the rest of the season.

Kelly was injured during Ole Miss' win against Georgia Southern, leaving the field during the game's third quarter. ESPN reports that Kelly is scheduled to undergo surgery to repair his knee sometime this week.

Prior to his injury, Kelly led the SEC in offensive yards with 2,758 parring yards, 332 rushing yards, and 19 passing touchdowns.

Kelly is the nephew of NFL Hall of Fame QB Jim Kelly.
