Another Alabama player is in trouble with the law. Alphonse Taylor, a redshirt senior offensive lineman, was arrested Sunday and charged with a DUI offense.
Details are limited in the case. except that the incident apparently occurred in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. Taylor's bond was set at $1,000, according to al.com.
According to al.com's Mark Zenitz, Taylor "was already in (Alabama head) coach Nick Saban's doghouse over weight- and conditioning-related issues" during spring practice.
Taylor's arrest comes several days after Saban vigorously defended Alabama OL Cam Robinson and cornerback Hootie Jones from criticism by SEC Network's Pail Finebaum falling the dropping of drug possession-related charges against them in Louisiana.
