Georgia's loss is Miami's gain. Brunswick, Georgia high school rising senior wide receiver/athlete Deejay Dallas, who decommitted from UGA in December, announced his commitment to Miami on Saturday.
Dallas decommitted from Georgia following the firing of the Bulldogs' then-head coach Mark Richt. It's no surprise then that he decided to commit to Miami, which hired Richt in December.
247Sports grades Dallas as a four-star athlete prospect for 2017. The recruiting site ranks Dallas at no. 12 among athlete prospects for 2017, at no. 27 among 2017 from the state of Georgia, and at no. 222 among 2017 prospects nationally.
Dallas attends Glynn Academy in Brunswick, Ga. He stands 5'10.5, and weighs 191 lbs.
