You didn't think that a Big Ten Championship Game day would really happen without some kind of Ohio State drama, did you. Even though the Buckeyes are staying home for the first time in two seasons, the team still manages to steal away some headlines from B1G Championship participants Michigan State and Iowa.
There was a little bit of a rumor on Chat Sports Friday that the NFL team impersonating the Cleveland Browns was preparing to offer its head coaching job to Ohio St. head coach Urban Meyer. It even managed to make it on Pardon the Interruption on Friday night.
That was apparently enough for Meyer and the school to release an official statement stating that Meyer "had no interest whatsoever position outside of my job coaching the Buckeyes."

It's debatable whether Meyer and Ohio St. needed to release any kind of statement on this issue. It is curious that it decided to do it the morning of a B1G title game that it wasn't a part of, though.
