Former USC head coach Steve Sarkisian is filing a wrongful termination lawsuit against the school over his firing in October.

Sarkisian was fired by USC  a day after the school had placed him on indefinite leave to "seek treatment of an undisclosed condition." Sarkisian had previously appeared drunk at school shortly before the season began.

The lawsuit claims that USC failed to support Sarkisian in his battle with alcoholism "Instead of supporting its Head Coach, Steve Sarkisian, when he needed its help the most," the lawsuit claims, " USC kicked him to the curb."

USC claims that it has yet to receive "anything related to a lawsuit regarding Steve Sarkisian."
