Five-star Wake Forest , NC high school senior defensive tackle prospect Dexter Lawrence committed to Clemson's 2016 recruiting class on Monday. He Lawrence decided to go with a little more creative presentation when announcing his commitment to the Tigers.

One would think that if one was going for a WWE-style turning the lights out and then turning them back on for a big reveal that one would try to do something a little more flashier than just donning a baseball cap. Oh well.

247 Sports grades Lawrence as a five-star defensive tackle prospect. The recruiting website ranks Lawrence at no. 2 among DT prospects for 2016, at no. 1 among 2016 prospects from the state of North Carolina, and at no. 3 in its composite rankings for 2016 prospects nationally.

Lawrence attends Wake Forest High School in Wake Forest, NC. He stands 6'5, and weighs 330 lbs.
