Report: Minnesota May Name Tracy Claeys As Permanent Head Coach.

Minnesota has gone 0-2 since Tracy Claeys became the Golden Gophers' Interim head coach two weeks ago. That apparently isn't making the school shy away from giving Clays the job permanently.

The Minneapolis Star-Tribune is reporting that Minnesota is working out a deal with Claeys, who has served as interim had coach since health issues forced Jerry Kill to retire on Oct. 26. Claeys had served as head coach on several occasions when Kill, who has epilepsy, was sidelined due to seizures.

Claeys has served as defensive coordinator for Minnesota since 2011, and was named assistant head coach in 2014.

Minnesota's next game is on the road against Iowa on Nov. 14.
