It looks like Rutgers isn't the only football program in the Big Ten with kleptomania issues. Purdue freshmen defensive backs Evyn Cooper and David Rose were arrested Wednesday morning in connection with the alleged theft of an unspecified number of bicycles.

Few details of the case have been released, but the incident happened in West Lafayette on the Purdue campus. Purdue University Police Chief John Cox has said the investigation into the case is still ongoing.

Purdue associate athletic director for communication Matt Rector says that Boilermakers head coach Darrel Hazell "is aware of the incident and will let the legal process play out."

Of the two players, only Rose has seen playing time in the 2015 season.

Purdue will host Virginia Tech Sept. 19.
