Bacon said in a Reddit AMA that three NFL head coaches (whom he did not name) had interest in taking the head coaching position at Michigan if current head coach Jim Harbaugh had declined the job. Bacon is the author of Endzone: The Rise, Fall, and Return of Michigan Football. (Honestly that last part of the title might be premature.) (College Spun)
