SEC Fallout: Nick Saban, Gus Malzahn, Georgia, and more.

Welcome to the Fallout - SEC edition.

AL.com interviewed some of the top high school prospects in the country their opinions on Alabama head coach Nick Saban during The Opening in Portland, Or. earlier in July.  Prospects questioned include defensive tackle Kendell Jones, and inside linebacker Jaquan Yulee, who have committed to Alabama.

In the interest of fairness, Al.com also asked prospects at The Opening about Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn. Wide receiver prospect and Tiger commit Eli Stove is among the prospects questioned about Malzahn.

Nick Cole ponders on which SEC teams would fare the best if they left the conference and became independents. Cole's picks are Alabama, Florida, LSU, and Texas A&M. (Saturday Down South)

Nick Cole looks at "what every SEC coach needs to do become (the) best in school history. For the most part, it involves each coach becoming the winningest coach in his school's history.
