Notre Dame has suspended running back Greg Bryant for reasons involving the ever-vague "violation of team rules." He will sit out the first four games of the Fighting Irish's 2015 college football season.

Bryant will be suspended for the Irish's meetings against Texas (Sept. 5), Virginia (Sept 12), Georgia Tech (Sept. 19), and UMass (Sept. 26). His first game back from suspension would be the Oct. 3 road game against Clemson.

Bryant rushed for 289 yards on 54 carries in 2014, including three rushing touchdowns.
