Florida AD Jeremy Foley won't decide on Will Muschamp's fate until after end of season.

If you're a Florida fan hoping that Gator head coach Will Muschamp will be fired midseason like Ron Zook was in 2004, you're going to be disappointed. Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley says any decision on Muschamp's continued employment in Gainesville will be made after the 2014 season is completed.

"You never judge or evaluate a program based on one game or one season," Foley told "Open Mike" on 790 The Game in Orlando. "That's just not how we do things here. We're going to evaluate where we're headed -- where the players are, how is recruiting going, what type of staff we have, are we better?

"That's going to be plain for all of us to see, but it's also going to be played out over the course of 11 games, and we'll see where we are when we get to the end of the season."

Florida has a buy week this weekend. The Gators next scheduled game is on the road at Tennessee on Oct. 4.
