Texas A&M adds CB prospect Roney Elam to its 2015 recruiting class.

Texas A&M head coach has posted another one of his patented "YESSSIR" tweets.




That can only mean one thing. The Aggies have added another has added another prospect to its 2015 recruiting class. This time, it's Newton, Tx four-star high school senior cornerback prospect Roney Elam who has made the College Station his future destination.


Elam tweeted his decision out on Friday. 



Elam is graded as a four-star CB in both the 247Sports.com composite and by ESPN Recruiting Nation.  The 247Sports.com composite ranks Elam at no. 27 among 2015 CB prospects, at no. 41 among 2015 prospects from the state of Texas, and no. 287 among all 2015 prospects.

The ESPN300 rankings of 2015 prospects ranks Elam at no. 232.

Elam attends Newton High School in Newton, Tx. He stands 6'3, and weighs 170 pounds.
