North Carolina State's loss is Georgia's gain. Former Wolfpack wide receiver Charlie Hegedus is transferring to Georgia, where he will join the team as a non-scholarship player.

Hegedus was a member of the NC State Wolfpack for two seasons. He has received a hardship waiver from the NCAA, so he will be eligible to play in the upcoming 2014 college football season.

Hegedus is a native of Marietta, Georgia, where he attended Lassiter High School. He was a teammate of Georgia starting quarterback Hudson Mason. He stands 6'2", and weighs 210 pounds.
