Mike Richardson and Tanner Tausch are ex-Texas Tech quarterbacks.

It looks like Wednesday's quarterback transfer frenzy is spilling over into today. Texas Tech walk-on QB's Mike Richardson and Tanner Tausch have both reportedly left the Red Raiders football program. Tausch will remain enrolled at Texas Tech, while Richardson is seeking out greater playing time at another school.

This leaves Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury with only one QB, Davis Webb, currently on the roster. Patrick Mahomes is the only QB in the Texas Tech 2014 recruiting class. However, his status may be up in the air, as he could be selected in the upcoming 2014 MLB Draft. He recently pitched a no-hitter as a pitcher for Whitehouse (Tx.) High School.

Vincent Testaverde, son of former NFL QB Vinnie Testaverde, is reportedly enrolling at Texas Tech this summer, and will try to earn a walk-on spot on the team.
