The cover to Paul Finebaum's new book is as garish as you thought it would be.

Harper Collins has unveiled the cover to ESPN radio personality and SEC media gadfly Paul Finebaum's new book My Conference Can Beat Your Conference: Why the SEC Still Rules College Football. How does it look? Imagine a redneck version of the cover to The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Then make it ten times more garish then you could ever possibly imagine.

The photo shoot for the cover taken at Bryant-Denny Stadium (where else) on the Friday before the LSU-Alabama game. Around fifty SEC-clad people join Finebaum on the cover, including the infamous Finebaum Show caller Tammy, who is standing right in front of Paul.

"The fact that Tammy is standing right in front of me pretty much seals the quest to have a No. 1 bestseller, I think."

And before you ask, Harvey Updyke, the Alabama fan who poisoned the Oaks of Toomer's Corner,  is not on the cover (though there's probably a good chance Finebaum discusses his part in the infamous incident). Neither is Gene Wojocieowski, who co-authored the book with Finebaum.

My Conference Can Beat Your Conference will be released Aug, 12. 2014, just in time for college football season.
