Two Tennessee players arrested on alcohol-related charges, resisting arrest.

Two members of the Tennessee football team, linebacker A.J. Johnson and defensive lineman Danny O'Brien were arrested late Saturday night on alcohol-related charges, along with charges of resisting arrest. Former Volunteer linebacker Dontavis Sapp was also arrested.

The three were arrested by Knox County Police on Saturday Night. Johnson who is 22, faces charges of "purchasing alcohol for a person underage and resisting arrest." O'Brien, who is 20,  faces charges of "criminal impersonation, resisting arrest and underage consumption of alcohol." Sapp was charged with resisting arrest, among other charges.

In a statement, Tennessee head coach Butch Jones said that "We are aware of the situation and are still in the preliminary stages of gathering all facts and information. We have very high standards and expectations within our football program at the University of Tennessee, and appropriate action will be taken.”
