Big Tentacles: James Franklin, Vonn Bell, Doug Nussmeier, and...Bo Pelini vs, Faux Bo Pelini?

Big Tentacles - The Big Ten and its influence over college football.

Note: Starting today, "Big Tentacles" will include coverage of future Big Ten members Maryland and Rutgers. The two schools won't officially join the conference until July 1, 2014, and their basketball and other winter and spring  athletic programs will continue to play in their respective conferences until then. However, as BT deals mostly with football, I'll cover the football news about the Terrapins and the Scarlet Knights here.

Fomer Maryland running back Wes Brown has been readmitted to the school. Brown has been suspended after being arrested for an  incident involving the police. The charges involved with the case were later dropped. (The Washington Post)
