Two members of Penn State head coach Bill O'Brien's coaching staff are reportedly "no longer" with the Nittany Lion football program. Reports began coming out Monday that quarterbacks coach Charlie Fisher and linebackers coach Ron Vanderlinden had parted ways with the school. No explanation for the has been given as to whether the departures were voluntary or a decision made by the school.
Fisher joined O'Brien's staff in 2012. Vanderlinden had been at the school since 2001, and had been one of only two members of former Penn St. HC Joe Paterno's staff to remain with O'Brien.
No official comment from Penn State has been made about Fisher and Vanderlinden's departure.
