Nebraska has some more trouble on its hands. If head coach Bo Pelini's now infamous rant against the fans wasn't bad enough, the Huskers may have lost the use of starting quarterback Taylor Martinez for next Saturday due to a case of turf toe.
According to Pellini, Martinez has been wearing a walking boot for the past two days, and missed practice entirely on Tuesday. His availability for next Saturday's game against South Dakota State is in question, though Pelini says that “If he's healthy, he'll play.
If unavailable, the Huskers would have to turn to either senior QB Ron Kellogg III, or redshirt freshman Tommy Armstrong Jr.
